First Baptist seeks to provide a comprehensive, caring ministry to children and their parents. At FBC Lewisville, we call that KidZone Ministries. We want to help by providing a place you can turn to for answers. Supporting moms and dads in the challenge of parenting and to ensure the best for your child’s future are major concerns. It is our desire to provide a safe place with caring people to help you teach your child about the things that matter and to be a support to you and your child as he or she grows up.
Children experience loving acceptance from caring, qualified adults in each of our ministries. Children at First Baptist are given the opportunity to participate in many exciting activities. Our teaching goal is to help your child understand who God is and what God means in his or her life. We seek to build a solid foundation for an eventual decision for Christ.

We want an ever-growing number of children to visit our church, finding a place where they feel loved, come to know Christ, and continue to grow through fun and life-changing experiences.
We want parents to find a place where their lives are impacted by what they see happening in the lives of their children.
We want their experience from the moment they arrive until they leave to be one of surprise and delight.
OUR GOALS
To provide a safe, secure and loving environment for children where parents feel comfortable leaving their child
To help children feel a warm sense of belonging to their church family and to ensure each child feels welcomed and wanted
To help each child understand that God is real and that a personal relationship with Him gives meaning to life
To aid each child in accepting Jesus Christ and developing a dynamic relationship with Him
To help each child understand that God’s Word is relevant and growth in Bible knowledge results in positive life changes in attitudes, actions and life-style
To help each child grow in relationship to other believers and with unchurched friends
To provide children the opportunity to participate in worship and ministry
To support families in their responsibility for the spiritual nurture and growth of their child
To provide godly men and women who are adequately trained to serve as positive role models as they minister with children
To provide life changing education for our children by utilizing quality resources and continually training and encouraging our volunteers
