How can I pray?
It is more important that you pray than how you pray. Below are a few words
to help you through your prayer time.
Adoration (worship & praise):
Psalm 19:1 & 2
"The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge."
Confession (of specific sins):
1 John 1:9
"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins,
and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
Thanksgiving (gratitude):
Colossians 3:17
"And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus,
giving thanks to God and the Father by him."
Supplication (specific requests):
John 14:13
"And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father
may be glorified in the Son."
John 15:7
"If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will,
and it shall be done unto you."
Psalm 37:4
"Delight thyself also in the Lord; and He shall give thee the desires of
thine heart."
