Envy. A disease that's a sickening combination of jealousy, greed, and ultimately a sort of "hatred" for another human being. I feel it. I live it. At times it totally takes over.
Here is my prayer-God, make me like you. Make me love like you. Make me content like you. Make me see others like you. I lay my envy out in the open-envy of my friends, envy of my colleagues, envy of the person who has a great deal in common with me, but who I somehow view as my competition. God give me an abundant mindset. You are the creator of all that is good, true and beautiful and there is enough good and enough success to go around.
