Texas Baptists have Disaster Response Teams poised to bring aid and relief when disasters strike. These teams are waiting for clearance to fly to Haiti with 5,000 water purification systems and also to provide meals, electricity and other services to Haitian people and to rescue workers. Our church family took an extra offering Sunday, raising over $18,000 which will go to this much needed work at a critical time for the Haitian people.  If you were not prepared to give and desire to contribute toward this worthy cause, be sure to mark your check or envelope with the word “Haiti” and we will forward all funds to our Texas Baptist Disaster Relief Response Teams.
