You are invited to kick-off our 2011/12 First Women’s Ministry August 20. You will be encouraged to “shine” as women as we grow in Christ together, embrace one another and touch our community this year. Don’t miss this special time of recognition, details, inspiration and luncheon (each table will be uniquely decorated with love to “shine” for our luncheon by volunteers of FBC.)

The Touching the World Committee asked that you bring a new, unwrapped item for Community Partners of Denton County. These items will be placed in their Christmas Store to benefit abused and neglected children served by Child Protective Services. Item needed: (Infants/Toddlers) Pacifiers or Teething Rings, Bottles or Sippy Cups, Receiving Blankets, Baby Towels & Wash Cloths, Clothing or PJ's, Booties, Socks or Caps, Toys, Books or Balls, (no stuffed animals please)

(Teens) Journals, DVD's or CD's, Watches, Body Washes, Art Supplies, Sports Equipment, Batteries - sizes: AAA, AA, C & D.

 

Frosty Feast

A fun evening to warm up with your friends as we kick-off our Spring activities, missions and Bible Study options. Sure to be a night for sparkle and fun and a Frosty Feast!

Tickets on sale for $10 across from the north Information Center.

Style show hosted by Coldwater Creek and
Story time by the fire with Kate Fite complete with hot cocoa and cookies.

EXPO

Regardless of the journey you are on, join women of all ages for a time to connect and learn at our annual one-day EXPO event for women. The day features break-out sessions with a variety of relevant topics, peddler booths, luncheon and program to inspire you to enjoy the journey.
