kidzone Milestones

We commit to help equip and encourage you as parents to take on this role as the primary spiritual leader in your family with all of your heart, soul and strength. We call this effort "Milestones." We will mark Milestones along the way in the life of your family from birth all the way through young adulthood. We have age specific Milestones to help you celebrate moments and have important spiritual conversations.

We are passionate about this ministry as a church, because it will help us acheive ou results: we commit to Christ by growing more as individual believers, to His followers by encouraging one another and sharing our experiences along the way, and to the world by becoming more and more like Christ  by growing more as individual believers, to His followers by encouraging one another and sharing our experiences along the way, and to the world by becoming more and more like Christ as we are all transformed by His great power. Jesus' story is changing the world. We want our families to be part of that process. 

THE PATH: For Grades 1, 2 and their Parents

God has called us all to know Him and make Him known. The path is designed to help families understand and appreciate the important role worship should play in the life of their family and to equip them to worship at home. The following year we will look at how to make Jesus known to the world around by inspiring and engaging the family to be the hands and feet of Christ through church, community and global ministry as a family. We will challenge you to find a ministry or service project you can do as a family to serve others as Christ Has so faithfully served us.

THE GROOVE: For Grade 3, 4 and their Parents

The best way we can know God is through the Bible, His Holy Word, The Groove experience is designed to empower you and your family to spend time together reading the Bible and memorizing Scripture, truly putting God’s Word at the center of their lives. It is at this event your child will receive an age appropriate Bible for them to begin to read and study on their own, as well as with the family. The following year we will learn what Jesus has to say about being a steward. We are not just talking about money. Our goal is to challenge your family to consider how God might shape your life and be empowered to develop some God-honoring habits with your time and finances and freedom-building stewardship skills at home.

THE QUEST: For Grade 5, 6 and their Parents

Adolescence is one of the most tumultuous times in the life of a kid as they grow from child to young adult it can be the most physically and emotionally draining time in your life and the life of your child.  The Quest is a weekend that builds on what is going on in their bodies, what God says about it and how to be aware of the lies that the world shows as their idea of truth. One year we look at the moral life God has called us to live and how to prepare ourselves in advance to live that life. The next year we look at the physical changes that are going to take place in our bodies and to be ready for that time.
