Student choirs are a wonderful part of the worship ministry of FBCL. We have two excellent student choirs. Both student choirs rehearse on Sundays at 5:30pm from September through June. They help lead worship times in the church as well as participating in ministry opportunities by singing in nursing homes, prisons, children's homes, etc. in the DFW area. Each choir also goes on a summer choir/mission trip.

Priority is for students in grades 7 and 8. This group is under the direction of Missy Iley. Since this choir began in 1997, they have been involved in choir/mission tours in Oklahoma City, San Antonio, Galveston, Corpus Christi, and Little Rock, Arkansas. Voice of Praise is for students in grades 9 - 12. The choir is led by Worship Pastor, Kelvin Reed. The choir is an active part of our weekly worship celebrations at FBCL. Our 100+ members love singing about and sharing the great news of Christ! The choir has participated in Mission trips all over the united States including Seattle, Charleston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Atlanta, San Jose, Phoenix, and Philadelphia.
